FEBLERLABS TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (Echovox) Content Creation Guidelines (Content Policy)

Purpose: To maintain the highest standards of content, ensuring that all material on Echovox is informative, reliable, and valuable to our audience.

1. Content Areas

Allowed Content Areas:

  • Permitted Topics: Echovox encourages the creation of content across a wide range of informational and educational topics. The platform welcomes content that provides value, knowledge, and insights in various fields. Topics may include (but are not limited to) business, finance, health, wellness, technology, education, science, personal development, career advice, history, and other informational areas relevant to the platform's focus.

Prohibited Topics:

  • Regardless of the niche chosen, Echovox strictly prohibits content that falls within the following categories: politics, entertainment, comedy, activism, rants, music, poetry, agenda-driven content, and hate speech. Content that incites violence, promotes illegal activities, or spreads misinformation will also not be tolerated.

Flexibility for Future Expansion:

  • As Echovox evolves, the platform may explore new content areas while maintaining a commitment to quality, accuracy, and integrity. Any expansion into new topics will be accompanied by specific guidelines to ensure alignment with Echovox's core values.

Adherence to Local and Global Standards:

  • All content must comply with local and international regulations, including those related to digital content, intellectual property, and privacy. Creators are expected to stay informed about these regulations to ensure their content remains compliant.

2. Content Guidelines

Informative and Balanced Content:

  • Facts and Figures: Creators are encouraged to provide verifiable facts, figures, statistics, sources, and data.
  • Balanced View: Strive for a balanced view in opinions, supported by credible evidence, while avoiding misleading or biased information.

Field of Expertise:

  • Expertise Focus: Content should be produced within the creator's area of expertise.
  • Disclosure of Limitations: When discussing topics beyond their expertise, creators must clearly state their limitations and base their opinions on scientific principles.

Quality and Authenticity:

  • Originality: Content must be original and free from plagiarism.
  • Accuracy: Information provided must be accurate, up-to-date, and supported by credible sources.
  • Transparency: Sources and references must be clearly cited to ensure transparency and trustworthiness.

Prohibition of Harmful Content:

  • Content promoting violence, hate speech, or any form of extremism is strictly forbidden. This includes incitement against individuals or groups based on race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics.

AI-Generated Content:

  • Creators must disclose when content is AI-generated or altered using AI tools. This transparency is crucial for maintaining content integrity, particularly for sensitive topics.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

Respect for Intellectual Property:

  • Original Content: Creators must ensure that all content shared on Echovox is original or properly licensed. Any use of third-party content, including text, images, audio, or video, must be appropriately credited and used in compliance with applicable copyright laws.
  • DMCA Compliance: Creators must adhere to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other relevant intellectual property laws. Any content found to be in violation of these laws may be removed, and repeat offenders may face account suspension or termination.

4. Right to Final Decision

Echovox's Authority:

  • Final Rights: Echovox reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the appropriateness, accuracy, and compliance of all content shared on the platform. This includes the right to remove, modify, or restrict access to content that violates the platform's guidelines, local or international laws, or is deemed inappropriate for any reason.
  • Discretionary Powers: Echovox retains the discretion to take action against any content or channel that, in the platform's judgment, does not align with its values, mission, or the community's best interests.

Adherence to Indian Regulations:

  • Grievance Redressal: Creators must cooperate with Echovox's grievance redressal mechanism, and any content flagged for review must be promptly addressed in accordance with the platform's procedures.

6. Ethical and Professional Standards

Integrity and Ethics:

  • No Conflict of Interest: Creators must avoid conflicts of interest and ensure that their content does not promote personal agendas, undisclosed affiliations, or biased information that could mislead users.
  • Professionalism: Content should be presented professionally, with a focus on delivering value and maintaining the platform's reputation for quality and reliability.

7. User Safety and Content Moderation

User Safety:

  • Content Moderation: Echovox will implement robust content moderation practices to monitor and enforce compliance with these guidelines. This includes automated tools as well as human review to identify and address content that violates the platform's standards.
  • Reporting Mechanism: Users and creators can report content that they believe violates these guidelines. Echovox will review all reports and take appropriate action to ensure the platform remains safe and welcoming for all users.

8. Continuous Improvement

Feedback Integration:

  • Creators are encouraged to actively integrate feedback from listeners to continuously improve content quality.

Periodic Reviews:

  • Echovox will conduct periodic reviews of all channels to ensure ongoing compliance with the highest content standards. Creators will be provided with actionable insights and recommendations to further enhance their content.

9. Cultural Sensitivity

Cultural Sensitivity:

  • Creators must ensure that content is culturally sensitive and compliant with local norms, avoiding depictions that could be deemed offensive or inappropriate.

Protection of Minors:

  • Content must not exploit or abuse minors. Explicit material or content encouraging inappropriate behavior towards minors is strictly forbidden.

Avoidance of Deceptive Practices:

  • Creators must avoid impersonation, misleading content, and manipulated media that could deceive or harm users.

Sensitive Content Restrictions:

  • Content should avoid being excessively violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise shocking and graphic, ensuring a safe environment for all users.

10. Regular Updates and Compliance Checks

  • Regular Audits: Echovox will conduct regular audits of content to ensure ongoing compliance with these guidelines and applicable laws.
  • Guideline Updates: These guidelines will be periodically reviewed and updated to reflect changes in legal requirements, industry best practices, and platform policies. Creators will be notified of any significant changes and are expected to comply with the updated guidelines.

11. Finality of Decisions

Binding Nature of Decisions:

  • Final Decision: All decisions made by Echovox regarding content evaluation, compliance, and enforcement are final and binding. Creators agree to abide by these decisions and acknowledge that Echovox's judgment in these matters is conclusive.

12.Creator Application Review and Rejection Policy

  • Echovox reserves the right to review and reject creator applications based on its standards, mission, and values. Applications may be rejected for various reasons, including but not limited to misalignment with the platform's core values or mission, lack of relevant expertise, incomplete or insufficiently detailed applications, or concerns over the authenticity or credibility of the creator's profile, expertise, or identity.
  • Additionally, applications may be rejected if the creator fails to meet the platform's content quality standards or if intent checks suggest that the creator's goals do not align with the ethical guidelines and objectives of Echovox. Any content that violates the platform's terms of use or guidelines will also be grounds for rejection. Echovox retains full discretion to reject applications when there are concerns about the creator's qualifications, credibility, or intent.
